De Miguel, known as Alfaro, have written many things, and has been praised by many newspapers, including Nelson Sanchez, who wrote: "Return to our pages romantic man with his art highlights the natural resources, the palms, red earth and streams: everything that is part of the Cuban countryside. toils in your browser, your thinking also falls on the importance of colonial architecture and the impact of that beauty that both like to play. Linking art and science in a whole polychromatic graphic. It is the sense of the artist ... is dialogue with silence. "
"The day scholars studying the masters of contemporary art will be studied with Miguel Alfaro, not only by the expertise of its realism and landscapes, but by the color and handling of this has raised the prestige of Cuban painting . In his landscapes of the harvest has been compared to Van Gogh, is that it incorporates the Impressionism and its colors to the landscape, for example, in the painting "Landscape farmer", better known as "Romance peasant" is the realism of the grass that makes you want to touch it, and the couple sitting on her perfectly painted in surrealistic style, surrounded by a series of elements such as flirting with cock pigeon is perched on her head, the mango tree: a real landscape with perfect shadows, but in the background are impressionistic style touches to admire the scenery along with its river and lost his palms in the distance, one wonders how three styles can be fitted into one, and everything look so smooth and beautiful, with a more colorful than real, is spectacular. The answer for me would be: that only a master painter could do it. As for price, he could put the price he deems (considering that his works have sold up to six thousand dollars here in Miami), and I forgive the world's critics and art catalogs, but the value of this work for the beholder like me, is priceless, worthy of study and be in an art museum. One day they will like that can not pigeonhole this painting in a particular style, you can not throw Miguel Alfaro the corner of oblivion, but instead, put it in the place it deserves in the history of art, because their deeds, as their lives are worthy of study. An acquaintance told me he had been offered ten thousand dollars for a Valley of Viñales Miguel Alfaro, but he would not sell it because he knows that his painting is more valuable. So does his godson, who owns the original painting "Cocos". And they're right, no wonder only collectors and art connoisseurs truly interested in his paintings! Many have tried to copy it, and few have seen fit to sell their Giclées, but no one could copy the touch of Miguel Alfaro because he is an artist who outdoes himself, but few can surpass him. A days will be recorded the name of Miguel Alfaro, who was born on December 8 as Wilfredo Lam, and great-nephew of David Alfaro Siqueiros, in the annals of art history as recorded Cuban Leopoldo Sanchez Romañach and Thomas, not only inherited his talent but for his exceptional virtuosity to give a colorful impressionistic our Earth. "Opinion of the writer Maite Toledo.
Among his collectors are the owners of the Bacardi Grisel Ybarra Attorney Ed Aldama, Faye Clark Executive \ 's New Horizon, Dr. Plasencia, ex-Consul of France and ex-Consul of Spain in Cuba, former Miami Mayor Manny Diaz, Canadian businessman Bill Wagner, Ocean Bank, where he was hired for a Mural, and others. His paintings have traveled the world, and in the hands of private collectors from Paris to Boston.
